Community Service
Community service is an integral part of life at Case. All first year students participate in a class-wide service project during Orientation Week. Whether you choose to make an active commitment by joining a service organization or if your schedule only permits you to participate sporadically, there are plenty of opportunities to give to the community in Cleveland.
Our Office of Student Community Service serves as a clearinghouse for more than a dozen different student-run organizations, including a chapter of Habitat for Humanity, one of the most popular clubs at Case. Our Habitat chapter has built three houses, and fundraising is underway to begin building a fourth.
Students in fraternities and sororities are also active in community service. During each academic year, the Greek community collectively completes enough hours of community service to total at least 365 days.
