Cultural Activities
Case offers outstanding cultural opportunities for students. Experience world-class cultural events and even add your own talents to the mix!
If music is your passion, consider joining one of Case's numerous performance groups. Ensembles range from the Early Music Singers (Middle Ages through the Baroque) to the Case Marching Spartans, known for their exceedingly witty and long-winded cheers. If you'd rather listen than perform, attend a free recital at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Or see a performance of the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra. Cleveland offers a vibrant live music scene. And don't forget Case's own annual Battle of the Bands competition.
Not enough drama in your life? Our theater department produces four mainstage plays a year and opens auditions to all majors. Our dance department holds four dance concerts a year, plus the end-of-semester productions of MaDaCol, a dance collective. The Footlighters perform a musical every semester. And the University Program Board sponsors trips down to Cleveland's Playhouse Square, the largest performing arts complex outside New York City.
