EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Roll up your sleeves! A Case education means active learning.

SERIOUS OPPORTUNITIES

Case is a leader in experiential learning, an innovative approach to education that emphasizes hands-on experience.

At Case, experiential learning comes in many forms. You could participate in undergraduate research (75% of Case students do) or immerse yourself in another culture through our study abroad programs. You could be cast in a mainstage theater production. Or engage in clinical work as a nursing student. Or you may work for an engineering firm through a co-op program.

We believe that experiential learning includes the organizations you join, the environment in which you learn, and the interactions you have with classmates and professors.

RESEARCH SPOTLIGHT

Chris Mihos
Astronomy

Prof. Chris Mihos uses a combination of observational data and computational modeling to study the formation and evolution of galaxies. Like many Case faculty members, Prof. Mihos supports research opportunities for undergraduate students. Many of his students work with him in observing and working with data, and using computer models to study galaxy collisions.

Check out recent images taken from Case's astronomy observatory atop Kitt Peak, Arizona.
