Case's study abroad program is available to all students, regardless of major.

    Study Abroad

Interested in exploring other cultures and spending part of your college experience overseas? In recent years, Case students have studied in a host of countries - in every continent but Antarctica!

We offer many different types of study abroad programs. You may spend a full year or a semester in a traditional immersion arrangement or you may choose shorter term programs, such as the three-week Summer in Bordeaux. Exchange programs send Case students abroad and bring students from other countries to Case. Exchange opportunities for engineering include schools in Europe, Asia, Australia and Mexico. Management and Arts and Sciences students also go on exchange in Europe and Australia. And nursing students have formal exchange programs with Brazil and Scotland.

Study abroad is considered an honors program at Case; full-time students who have earned a 3.0 GPA and have the approval of their major advisors are eligible to apply.  If you wish to study in a non-English speaking country, you must have proficiency in that language.  In most cases, your financial aid and scholarships can be used to cover study abroad expenses.

For students who want to explore a different university culture within the United States, Case offers an exchange program with Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, the first integrated, coeducational school in the United States. Or, take advantage of Case's Washington Center and Washington Semester programs that provide students the opportunity to earn up to 15 credit hours for a full-time internship program. Students can conduct intensive research and develop a portfolio in their area of major interest, or utilize source materials at government institutions for specialized research.
