Q:
Is the campus safe?
-
A:
Case is a safe campus. In a yearly satisfaction survey, Case residential students consistently give an excellent rating for how safe they feel in the residence halls. Certain precautions help to keep it that way. Case has its very own fully trained police force, and there are several surrounding police forces, such as University Circle police and Cleveland police, that patrol campus as well. Residence halls are locked twenty-four hours a day. All residence halls are well-lit and patrolled by campus security. Campus buses, an escort service and well-lit walkways help keep you safe when returning to your residence hall at night. All threats to campus security are sent out to students, faculty, and staff via emailed Security Alerts. In case of a major campus emergency, CaseWARN, a text and voice messaging alert system will communicate this event instantly to the campus community.
