Cleveland rocks! This major city offers many unique sites to see and distinctive things to do.

Cleveland

Case is just a ten-minute Rapid Transit light rail train ride from downtown Cleveland. (Case students have unlimited access to the Rapid as part of their student activity fee.) Campus is a safe haven in this Northeastern Ohio city of roughly two million but still wide open to all the amenities an urban area has to offer.

Cultural attractions
The Cleveland Museum of Art and Cleveland Orchestra are at the heart of University Circle. The Cleveland Play House and Signstage Theater are both just minutes from campus. Playhouse Square, home to the four theaters - the Palace, State, Ohio, and Allen - makes downtown Cleveland the largest theater district between New York and Chicago.

Pro sports
If you can't live without professional sports teams, never fear. We've got it all - from the MLB Cleveland Indians to the NFL Cleveland Browns to the NBA Cavaliers.

Entertainment options
Cleveland is known for its Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Great Lakes Science Center, and Omnimax Theater. Cedar Point and the Pro Football Hall of Fame are only a short drive away.

Natural wonders
Get back to nature by exploring Lake Erie and its parks, beaches, and fishing piers. Cleveland also features a system of thirteen Metroparks, the Emerald Necklace, that circles the city with picnic areas, bike paths, hiking trails, and even a golf course or two. There's a Metroparks Zoo, too.

Shopping and dining
Shopping and dining experiences range from The Flats - a waterfront district of shops, clubs, and dining establishments on the east and west banks of the Cuyahoga River - to the historic gallery district of Ohio City to upscale shopping in Tower City Center, the Galleria, and Legacy Village.

Business features
In addition to its renown health care institutions, Cleveland supports Fortune 500 corporations, five of the nation's largest law firms, and one of thirteen Federal Reserve branches. It's all here: management and consulting firms, art and science centers, computer and engineering offices, manufacturing and steel plants, retail and service industries.
